Use the show's starting year
The year beneath a series poster refers to the production's start, not the year of every season. A search for a newer season of Grey's Anatomy should still select the series that began in 2005. Open its episode guide for the dates of individual episodes.
Two ways to enter a season
Search a title followed by S2E3, or spell out season 2 episode 3. You can leave the episode out when you only need a season. Add the production year for remakes or repeated titles. An episode that is absent from this catalog will not be invented to satisfy the query.
Vera and Endeavour series 9
These searches can mean the ninth season of the programme, not the Series9 website. Start with Vera or Endeavour, open the episode guide and choose season nine. Compare the episode name with the one on the viewing service before beginning. A season's size can be quite different from a long American network run.
Specials, parts and differing labels
This catalog's regular-season list does not promise to include every special, reunion or recap. A service may group a split season into parts while another keeps continuous episode numbers. When numbers disagree, use the episode name and recorded date together. Do not jump ahead merely because a button says “next.”
