Choose the story before the track
Use the original-language filter to find productions from a language you enjoy. That filter describes the film or show's source language. It does not certify all dubbed audio or multilingual subtitle options across countries.
Open the player's language menu
After selecting a viewing offer, look for audio and subtitle controls. Available tracks depend on the service, region and edition. A dialogue subtitle and a caption track may serve different needs; captions can also describe sounds and identify speakers.
When words arrive too early or late
Check that the audio and subtitle tracks belong to the same edition. Restart the episode or try the service's subtitle menu again. If a timing control is available, adjust it gradually. Series9's episode checkpoint does not store a subtitle delay.
Reading comfortably on a television
Where the player allows it, increase text size or use a background behind the letters. Try the setting from your normal viewing distance. Do not assume the controls available on a desktop player also exist in its television app.
