Series9 Not Working: Search, Pages and Watching Help

Find the difference between a broken Series9 link, restrictive filters, missing saved data and a player problem.

Only an old link fails

Open the homepage and search for the title rather than repeatedly loading the same bookmark. A working homepage with one missing page is different from a domain that does not open at all. If no websites load, check the connection before changing the movie search.

The catalog is visible but search is empty

Reset the filters and enter only the main title. A production-country filter and a viewing-country choice do different things. For example, selecting a production country will narrow the actual catalog, while changing the viewing country changes the external viewing links. Add the year only after the name is working.

Episode search finds the wrong version

Try a complete query such as Doctor Who 2005 S9E1. Long-running series and remakes may reuse both the name and the season number. For Love Island, choose the UK, US or Australian production before comparing episode names.

The problem begins after Watch now

Make a note of which viewing service and title are failing. A title page on Series9 does not control a player on another website. Check that service's quality, audio and subtitle menus, try another supported device and follow its account help when the error concerns a subscription.

Saved episodes are missing

Return to the browser and site address where you created them. Do not erase more browser storage while trying to recover the list. If you kept backup text, merge it into My List. A reload alone cannot restore data that has already been cleared.
